Several injured in I-57 crash

Multiple people were injured in a crash on I-57 in the southwest suburbs Friday morning.

About 6:15 a.m., a tractor trailer and another vehicle crashed in the northbound lanes of the interstate near 167th Street near Oak Forest, according to Illinois State Police.

The exact number of injuries and their severity was not immediately known, police said.

There were no lane closures as a result of the crash, police said.
