A man and woman were wounded in a shooting Monday night in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side.

About 9:08 p.m., a 29-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were shot in the 5900 block of North Kenmore, Chicago Police said.

The man was shot in the abdomen and listed in serious condition. The woman, whose condition had stabilized, was shot in the leg, police said. Both were taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.

The shooting may have been a drive-by, but police could not provide additional details late Monday.
