Girl, 14, missing from Norwood Park found safe

A 14-year-old girl who was reported missing a week ago from the Norwood Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side has been found safe.

Jayla Martinez was last seen about 2:05 p.m. Oct. 24 in the 4900 block of North Newcastle Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Police said Sunday night that Jayla had been found safe.
