David Sanders, 22, of Calumet City, is charged with felony aggravated discharge of a firearm, Burnham police said Friday morning.

At 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 2300 block of East State Street and found a woman with a gunshot wound to the lower back, according to a statement from police. She was taken to a trauma center in Oak Lawn.

Both victims’ injuries were non-life-threatening, police said.
