Woman shot in West Ridge

A 24-year-old woman was shot in the North Side West Ridge neighborhood early Sunday.

The woman suffered a gunshot wound to the head in the 6000 block of North Western Avenue, according to Chicago Police.

She walked into Swedish Covenant Hospital about 4:15 a.m. where her condition was stabilized.
