Boy, 17, shot in South Shore

A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a South Shore neighborhood shooting Monday afternoon.

The teen was outside in the 7300 block of South Blackstone about 4:35 p.m. when a male got out of a passing vehicle and shot him in the lower left leg, police said.

He was take to Jackson Park Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
