Teen boy wounded in North Lawndale shooting

A 16-year-old boy was shot in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side Monday evening.

About 5:05 p.m., the teen was standing outside in the 1900 block of South St. Louis when a man in his 20s walked up and shot him in the lower left leg, police said.

The teen was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
