Man hurt in Chicago Lawn shooting

A man was shot Monday night in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 22-year-old was in a parked vehicle in the 6000 block of South Mozart at 10:58 p.m. when someone walked up and announced a robbery, according to Chicago Police. The man drove off and the person fired, striking him in the upper right arm.

The victim took himself to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
