Three shot in East Garfield Park

Three people were shot in the East Garfield Park neighborhood Monday night.

About 9:30 p.m., the two men and one woman were outside after a gathering in the 3300 block of West Van Buren when they were shot, police said.

One man, 21, was shot in both legs, police said. He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized.

The other man, 29, and woman, 21, took themselves to Rush University Medical Center, police said. The man was shot in the buttocks and the woman was shot in the leg. Their conditions had both stabilized.
