New flavor of Chips Ahoy! cookies lands in stores

Chips Ahoy! released a new flavor — Hot Cocoa Chips Ahoy! — nationwide Monday.

The limited-time flavor is a soft, fudge cookie filled with a cocoa center, covered with marshmallow and chocolate chips. A package has a suggested retail price of $3.79.

Chips Ahoy! is a cookie brand of Nabisco, which is owned by Deerfield-based Mondelez International.

The company says the Hot Cocoa version of the classic cookie is a seasonal product available during the winter.
