Police are asking for the public to help identify the driver in a hit-and-run crash that left a man injured Thursday night near southwest suburban Lemont.
The accident happened about 7:40 p.m. near the intersection of Kotlin Road and Main Street in an unincorporated area near Lemont, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office.
Police said the 34-year-old man, who was going home from work, was walking on Main Street on the side of the road when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.
The Lemont Fire Department took him to a hospital suffering multiple injuries, though the injuries did not appear life-threatening, police said.
