Man shot in arm in West Garfield Park

A 36-year-old man was shot in the arm Sunday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

About 8 p.m., he was riding in a vehicle in the 4500 block of West Maypole when someone got out of another vehicle on the block and started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the left arm and was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
