Garage burglaries reported in Albany Park

Police are warning residents of a series of garage burglaries over the past month in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The burglaries occurred:

• between 7 and 8 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 4700 block of North Avers Avenue;
• between 8 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 17 and Nov. 18 in the 4700 block of North Harding Avenue; and
• between 8 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 4700 block of North Central Park Avenue.

In each incident, the suspect entered the garage through a side door, police said.
