Business burglaries reported in North Park, Albany Park

Police are warning residents of a series of business burglaries over the past month in the Northwest Side Albany Park and North Park neighborhoods.

The burglaries occurred:

  • between 11 p.m. and 8:45 a.m. Nov. 5 and 6 in the 4900 block of North Kedzie Avenue; and
  • at 12:15 a.m. Nov. 20 in the 3400 block of West Peterson Avenue

In each incident, the suspect broke a glass window or the glass window on a door to enter the business and then took money from the register, police said.

In one incident an unknown suspect wearing a dark jacket and a white mask was seen breaking the window and entering the store, police said.
