A man was shot Monday evening in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 20-year-old was shot in the leg about 7:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Tripp, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.

A police source said the man was not cooperating with investigators.
