Police are searching for a for a 66-year-old man with a medical condition who went missing from the South Shore neighborhood early Friday.

Donnie Ellis was last seen about midnight at his sister’s house in the 6700 block of South Shore Drive where he was staying for the Thanksgiving holiday, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. He was on a Holiday Pass from the Garden View Home at 6450 N. Ridge Ave. in the West Ridge neighborhood.

Ellis has a medical condition that requires assistance, the alert said. He is a black man with gray hair and brown eyes standing at 5-feet-9 and weighing 144 pounds. He may also go by the name Robert Edingburg.
