Teen girl shot in Gary

A 17-year-old girl was shot in Gary, Ind. Monday night.

The teen was visiting a friend in the 5800 block of Kennedy Terrace about 10 p.m. when she was shot in the leg, according to Gary police.

Her condition and hospital information was not available late Monday.
