A man was shot in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Wednesday night.

The 20-year-old was walking on the sidewalk in the 4300 block of West Adams about 10 p.m. when someone inside a passing red minivan shot him in the right leg, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
