Man shot in Bronzeville

A man was shot early Sunday in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

The man, 25, was walking on the sidewalk in the 4700 block of South Prairie about 12:30 a.m. when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Provident Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
