A man has twice exposed himself to teen girls in the West Elsdon and West Lawn neighborhoods on the Southwest Side in the last week, prompting police to issue a community alert.

On two occasions, a man drove up to a 17-year-old girl as she stood at the lip of an alley and exposed himself to her, police said. The incidents were reported on Nov. 5 in the 5900 block of South Kildare about 8 a.m. and on Nov. 9 in the 5600 block of South Karlov about 8:10 a.m.

The man was described as Hispanic, between 35 and 45 years old, police said. His height and weight were not known, but he has a medium complexion, short haircut and may be bearded. He was driving a newer model four-door Nissan.

Anyone with information on the man is asked to call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8382.
