There will be a time when Jahlil Okafor of the Philadelphia 76ers is a premier big man in the NBA. Until then, Eastern Conference teams will continue to beat up on him like the Bulls did Monday night.

Okafor finished the night with his first double-double, but it took 25 shots for him to get score 21 points. The Bulls big men stymied him in the paint for most of the night. Even though he was active on the boards, he was taught a few lessons by Pau Gasol about maneuvering in the paint.

The Spaniard was in the teaching mood as he divvied out six total blocks in the contest, and a few on Okafor. One day, rookie, one day.
