DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2015

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will meet with Prime Minister (Taoiseach) Enda Kenny of Ireland in the Oval Office to discuss issues of mutual concern. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of this meeting.

Afterward, the President and Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny will attend a St. Patrick’s Day lunch at the United States Capitol. The Vice President will also attend. There will be in-town travel pool coverage of the entertainment.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with Secretary of Defense Carter in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will host a reception to celebrate their seventh St. Patrick’s Day in the White House. The remarks by the President and Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny will be pooled press.
