Man shot in Brighton Park

A man was shot in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Tuesday afternoon.

About 2:40 p.m., someone broke the window of the 23-year-old’s home and he saw a beige car drive away down his block, police said.

The man gathered some friends, and they found the car in the 4400 block of South Talman, police said. When the 23-year-old walked up to the vehicle, someone inside shot him in the leg.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
