Roadwork will cause intermittent overnight closures on the Reagan Memorial Tollway in west suburban Naperville each night until Monday.

Interstate 88 will be closed at Illinois Route 59 for 15 minutes at a time between midnight and 5 a.m., according to a statement from the Illinois Department of Transportation.

After each 15-minute full closure, the interstate will be open for 15 minutes before the next closure begins, IDOT said. Weather permitting, all lanes are expected to be open continuously starting Monday.

The closures are part of a reconstruction project on Route 59 that includes building two new bridges to carry the road over I-88, IDOT said.
