Man shot in Auburn Gresham

A man was shot in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday evening.

About 5:20 p.m., the 38-year-old was in the 8000 block of South Ashland when a vehicle — possibly a blue car — drove past and someone inside opened fire, police said.

The man was taken to Holy Cross Hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm, police said. He was listed in good condition.
