A man and woman were shot Wednesday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The two were inside a vehicle in the 1900 block of West 73rd Street at 10:40 a.m. when a red truck pulled up beside them and someone fired shots, police said.

The 25-year-old woman was shot in the left shoulder and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. The man, also 25, was shot in the left bicep and taken to Holy Cross Hospital.

Both are listed in good condition.
