Two teenage boys shot in Woodlawn

Two boys — one 15 the other 16 — were shot Thursday afternoon in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

Both were shot about 5:30 p.m. in the 800 block of East 65th Street after a gunman approached and opened fire, police said.

The 15-year-old was shot in the leg and taken to University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The older teen suffered a graze wound to the armpit and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he is in good condition, police said.
