A 32-year-old man was hurt in a South Austin shooting early Wednesday on the West Side.

About 1:30 a.m., he was driving in the 4700 block of West Van Buren when someone in a passing silver car fired a bullet that grazed his head, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Gaines said.
