Donny and Marie Osmond today announced the postponement of their Aug. 12-16 engagement at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora. The shows are now rescheduled for May 25-26, 2016.

The postponement is due to a vocal cord ailment plaguing Donny.

In a statement, the singer said in part:

I recently was with Harvard Medical School’s Dr. Zeitels from Massachusetts General Hospital where he discovered I have a polyp on my vocal cord. I’m going to have surgery to remove it, and the doctors are confident that I will make a full recovery with no complications. However, that also means I won’t be able to sing until October while I recuperate.

The theater is contacting ticketholders regarding the rescheduled dates. For more information, call the box office at (630) 896-6666.
