A man was seriously wounded in a South Shore neighborhood shooting Thursday night.

About 7:50 p.m., the 35-year-old was crossing the street southbound in the 2400 block of East 75th Street when a male dressed in all black walked up and opened fire, police said.

The man was shot in the abdomen and taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
