Man shot in Longwood Manor

A man was shot Monday afternoon in the Longwood Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

The 29-year-old was shot in the neck about 4:10 p.m. in the 9700 block of South Wallace, police said.

An acquaintance drove him to Roseland Community Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, according to police.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
