A 16-year-old boy was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday night.

About 9:25 p.m., the teen was standing on the street in the 7300 block of South Winchester when three males walked up and shot him in the right knee, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
