Woman wounded in West Pullman shooting

A woman was shot in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side late Thursday.

About 10:30 p.m., the 29-year-old was sitting on a porch in the 11700 block of South Morgan when a male got out of light-colored sedan and shot her in the ankle, police said.

She was taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where he condition stabilized, police said.
