Man seriously injured in South Austin shooting

A 33-year-old man was shot twice in the groin early Sunday in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

About 1:35 a.m., he was outside in the 5300 block of West Congress when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
