A 23-year-old man suffered minor injuries in a Back of the Yards neighborhood shooting early Monday on the South Side.

He was outside about 1 a.m. in the 5400 block of South Laflin when he heard shots and realized a bullet had grazed his hip, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition.
