A 17-year-old girl and 21-year-old woman were shot in the Fuller Park neighborhood on the South Side Monday evening.

About 6 p.m., the two were in the 4500 block of South Shields when they were shot, police said.

They took themselves to St. Bernard Hospital and Health Center, but were transferred to Stroger Hospital, police said.

The teen was shot in the abdomen and the woman was shot in the left arm, police said. Both their conditions had stabilized.
