Winfield man arrested on child pornography charges

A 27-year-old man was arrested for possession of child pornography Friday in west suburban Wheaton.

Kevin R. Smith was arrested on two felony counts of unlawful possession of child pornography following an extensive undercover investigation, according to a statement from Wheaton Police.

Smith, of Winfield, was transferred to the DuPage County Jail, where he is being held on a $30,000 bond.
