A 24-year-old west suburban man has been charged with possession of child pornography.

Matthew M. Pedroso of Wheaton was charged Tuesday after he surrendered himself on an arrest after investigators found him in possession of child pornography, according to a statement from Wheaton police.

Pedroso was transferred to the DuPage County Jail and was released after posting 10 percent of a $10,000 bond, police said.
