A man was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood early Friday.

Just before 1 a.m., the 39-year-old was walking in the 6600 block of South Justine when two males walked up and announced a robbery, police said. The two took his watch and wallet before shooting him in the left foot and running off.

The man was driven to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
