Two wounded in Roseland shooting

Two men were shot in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side early Friday.

About 1:40 a.m., the two — ages 22 and 23 — were standing on the sidewalk in the 8800 block of South Harvard when a male got out of a white van and shot them, police said.

The 22-year-old was shot in the left arm and took himself to the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said. The older man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to his right leg. Both their conditions had stabilized.
