A 22-year-old man was shot in the leg Sunday afternoon in Brighton Park on the Southwest Side.

The shooting happened about 1:40 p.m. in the 3300 block of West 38th Place, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
