A 15-year-old boy was shot Saturday night in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the South Side.

The boy was walking in the 700 block of West 98th Street about 9:40 p.m. when someone walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the hand and arm and was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
