Moon Alert

Avoid shopping or making big decisions from 2:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Chicago time today. After that the Moon moves from Aries into Taurus.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

The Moon Alert makes things goofy and affects your productivity. But the days will feel better than they have! Plan for a long lunch with a romantic interest or friend. Late in the day, business and commerce look great.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is a much easier day than yesterday. Initially, you might want to goof off because you just need to relax. But after the Moon shifts into Taurus, you’ll be all systems go, especially with sports, social occasions, enjoying the arts and playing financial long shots.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This morning is the perfect time to schmooze with others and enjoy warm conversations, especially with female acquaintances. Meetings will be enjoyable, but do not agree to anything important until after the Moon Alert.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Relations with authority figures are good today, except do not volunteer for anything until after the Moon Alert is over. (See above.) As the day wears on, relations with groups, classes and conferences will be excellent because people are positive and cooperative.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This morning you want to escape somewhere. Ideally, you want to sleep in, and do exactly as you please until the afternoon. O perfect world, where art thou? But after the Moon changes signs, you feel energetic, especially talking to VIPs. Now you have ambition!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Although you’re concerned with inheritances, insurance matters, taxes, debt and bills, please postpone important decisions until the Moon Alert is over. Just take care of mundane details. After the Moon Alert, you are high energy and ready to go!

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

With Mercury retrograde in your sign, you are dealing with silly goofy errors, delays, lost items and transportation setbacks. Its minor stuff but it’s frustrating. This morning is an easygoing day talking with others, and after the Moon Alert, you can get down to brass tacks dealing with financial matters.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Right now you prefer to work alone or behind the scenes, and that’s just fine. Avoid important decisions this morning; nevertheless, people are easygoing and cooperative. By late afternoon, cooperation from others will be strong and focused. You get more done late in the day than in the entire morning.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Friends from the past are back in your life again. If possible, you might have a chance to enjoy hanging out with your pals this morning and just take it easy. But after the Moon Alert is over, you want to work. In fact, not only will you work — you will delegate! Hut, two, three, four!

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

It’s not easy dealing with authority figures lately because of Mercury retrograde. On the other hand, you will run into ex-bosses. Resist the temptation to agree to anything regarding shared property and inheritances in the morning. See Moon Alert.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You yearn to travel somewhere or get a change of scenery. This morning you might kick some ideas around with a friend, but wait until after the Moon Alert is over before you settle on anything. By then, you will know what resources are truly available to you. (Like bread, cheddar, clams and scratch.)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Although you have money concerns this morning or something to do with possible purchases or cash flow, wait until the Moon Alert is over before you act. You will be glad you did. In fact, after the Moon Alert is over, you will be surprisingly decisive and forthright.
