A man was shot in the Austin neighborhood Tuesday evening.
About 6:45 p.m., the man — whose exact age was not immediately known — was shot in the calf in the 5000 block of West Crystal, police said.
He took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition stabilized, police said.
