Many Bulls fans were filled with emotions when it was announced Derrick Rose injured the orbital bone in his eye during practice Tuesday, but a new poll suggest that more fans would have cared if it was Jimmy Butler.

According to an ESPN poll, created Tuesday evening, Butler is the most popular Bulls player, not the former No. 1 overall pick.

In fact, as of late Tuesday night, Joakim Noah (31) had a larger percent of the votes than Rose (20).

Although he isn’t listed here, big man Pau Gasol was statistically the team’s best player — even if Butler led the team in scoring (20 ppg).

Gasol averaged 18.5 points and a team-high 11.8 rebounds per contest last year.
