Man shot in Humboldt Park

A man was shot Thursday night in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 18-year-old was shot in the leg about 9:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of West Hirsch, said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines, citing preliminary information.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, but his condition was not immediately known, Gaines said.
