Starlin Castro's bat scorching in September

Cubs second baseman Starlin Castro has responded well since seeing a bump in playing time. The team went 18-9 in the month of September and he has contributed greatly to the success.

He’s had one of the hottest bats in the MLB all month long.

In Wednesday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds, Castro’s bat continued its torridness. He finished the game with four hits in five at-bat and batted in an RBI on a solo shot.

Castro has tallied 29 hits this months, and mashed five home runs. As good as the Cubs have been, a little boost from Castro in the playoffs may be all the the team needs to play for a World Series Title.
