Man wounded in Englewood shooting

A man was shot in the Englewood neighborhood late Friday.

Shortly before midnight, the 20-year-old was walking in the 7400 block of South Eggleston when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to his upper right thigh, police said. His condition was not available early Saturday.
