Man seriously injured in North Austin shooting

A man was seriously injured in a shooting Friday night in the North Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 20-year-old was walking in the 1400 block of North Linder at 8:39 p.m. when a male on a bike produced a gun and fired at him, police said.

He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood in serious condition with two gunshot wounds to the back, according to police.
