Police are warning residents about two robberies over the past month in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

The robberies occurred at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 200 block of West 33rd Street and 6:40 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 140 block of West 33rd Street, according to a statement from Chicago police.

In these incidents, the suspects approached the victim as they exited the CTA Red Line train station and robbed them.

The suspects are described as one to two 18- to 25-year-old black men. They stand between 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and weigh 140 to 160 pounds. They have brown eyes and black hair. One of the men had braids, police said.
